With over ten years experience as a writer/director and First Assistant director, Kelley has worked with various high-profile celebrities including John Lithgow, Steve Martin, Kathleen Turner, Cynthia Nixon, Diane Sawyer, Janeanne Garofalo, Spaulding Gray, and Joan Rivers. She has directed industrials, shorts, television pilots and several music videos for top musical acts including Belgium pop sensation Lynne Verlayne, with superstar choreographer Johnny Byrne, who previously worked with Elton John, Britney Spears, Mary J. Blige and No Doubt.
Kelley has produced commercials for Comedy Central and The Cartoon Network as well numerous short films including the film “Joseph Henry” which won best film honors at the Anchorage International Film Festival, and the USA film Festival .
Her writing credits include comedy sketches for the television show “Saturday Night Special” starring Roseanne Barr and Queen Latifah, promos for “That 70’a Show”, a feature article in Cosmopolitan magazine and was a writer/editor for Avanti Press writing funny animal greeting cards, books and calendars.
Currently she is putting together the cast, crew and financing for her first feature-length comedy screenplay “Tropical Depression. When asked why Kelley aspires to write and direct her own projects, she promptly responds; “Because of films like “Booty Call.”
